Simon Collins is a creative seditionary, design thinker, speaker, writer, designer and advisor. Following a career as fashion designer then creative director for some of the world's leading brands including Nike, Polo and Zegna he recently served 7 years as Dean of the School of Fashion at Parsons School of Design where he successfully brought together creativity, communication, business and innovation. He now spends his time advising brands, companies, fashion weeks and governments. He hosts the Fashion Garage advice salon series with Julie Gilhart and he travels the world speaking about his adventures. Identified as one of the essential voices of global fashion by The Business of Fashion 500 and listed as one of the 100 Most Creative People in Business by Fast Company. He is a staple in the New York Times, Vogue, WWD, Style.com, CNN, NPR, the Wall Street Journal and of course Page Six. His 5 season show on Chinese TV had 5m weekly viewers and in 2014 he published his first book; ‘The School Of Fashion'. His live conversation interview series includes guests; Victoria Beckham, Francois-Henri Pinault and Proenza Schouler. He has spoken at many notable fashion, tech and design conferences including Cannes Lions and the YPO conference. Simon Collins is the former dean of fashion at Parsons School of Design and the founder of Fashion Culture Design – The Unconference.
