A leading voice in digital strategy and UX design, Scott Kubie is an inventive, systems-minded design leader with deep experience in all things content.

He’s been a staff content strategist at Mailchimp, content strategy practice lead at Brain Traffic, and the first UX content strategist at Wolfram Research. Scott wrote the seminal design writing text Writing for Designers. He teaches content strategy at the School of Visual Concepts, UX writing at the School of Visual Arts, and organizes Content.Events and the Content Career Accelerator. Scott is an "Oregon Trail generation" millenial who still remembers the sound of a 9600 baud modem, and has been extremely online since ~1995. Through his own company and prior agency work, Scott has led projects or trainings for clients as diverse as Capital One, Schibsted, Culture Amp, Optum, The Getty Institute, American Physical Society, the College of American Pathologists, United Educators, SmartyPig, Breaking News Online (BNO), and many others. Scott is a popular international speaker on topics including content design, UX writing, content strategy, information architecture, and user-centered design.
